Miriam Barajas Carmona
My name is Miriam Barajas Carmona. I started my journey at Warner Pacific University in fall 2022 to obtain the prerequisites for the nursing program. I am currently in the second semester of the program. I am originally from Mexico, and I have lived in this country for twelve years. I have been working as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for six years and I obtained my LPN (License Practical Nursing) last summer. I work for Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and the library of this University. I volunteer at the church that I attend, especially helping my community. I am bilingual, and I feel glad to represent my community. Being part of Warner Pacific University makes me feel like I am at home since we form a community of unity and support where we can share our culture, religion and beliefs. I believe that this has a great impact to achieve my goals and dreams, since I have received support, and I feel more confident. I feel happy to be part of the library staff because I can share time with all the students, and I can help them. I am proud to be part of Warner Pacific University.
