During these times in the wake of COVID-19 quarantines and online instruction, we recognize the need for technology access for our students. Below are our technology options available.
The WPU Library offers technology lending at the Front Desk. Various technology has been identified by students and faculty as items that will improve student success. In addition to these tech loans, the Library has 5 public access computer workstations available, a projector and screen system set up and an information commons area for group computer work.
These items are available for checkout and use by WPU students, staff and faculty with a valid WPU ID. Tech loans are not available for guests or visiting scholars.
Laptop computers, tablets, microphones, and headsets are available for checkout at the Front Desk of the Library. Laptop loans are limited to WPU faculty, staff, and students with a valid WPU ID and no blocks on their library record.
Comcast internet provider increased locations of free WiFi hot spots for those who need WiFi access during COVID-19 quarantines. Please visit Xfinity for assistance in locating fee WiFi hot spots. Comcast is also offering assistance programs for low cost internet access packages, as well as increased speeds for current users.
