I come from a Hispanic background, and I am the first in my family to go to a university. I am majoring in Healthcare Administration and minoring in Social Entrepreneurship. I also work at the front desk in the library.
Since coming to Warner Pacific, I have met and befriended many people from diverse backgrounds.
I have been exposed to new things in Portland that I did not know before. I hope that during my time here at Warner Pacific, I will become active in campus activities — like home games or concerts — and make many connections with people. My goal for the future is to have a career in the healthcare field. Not necessarily being a doctor or nurse, though it would be nice, working at the front desk would be more ideal.
I am also considering working at a library since I had a position at my high school’s library. With the opportunity to work on campus as a library circulation assistant I am able to gain more job experience and reference as well.
